The challenge

Critical infrastructure with no single view

Safety systems are distributed by design — sensors, detectors, and panels spread across a whole site or portfolio. That makes them hard to see as a whole: state lives in dozens of places, faults surface late, and there's no live picture of whether everything that's supposed to be working actually is.

For infrastructure where failure has real consequences, "we'll find out when something breaks" isn't good enough. The goal was one real-time model of the entire system — every device, its live state, and early warning when something starts to drift.
